The Ultimate Catch

The Ultimate Catch by Constance Phillips

Jolanda is willing to do whatever it takes, even face off against the Bering Sea, to raise the money for a balloon payment on her father’s house.

She challenges Keller and wins a bet to get on the recently inherited crab fishing boat, forcing the young captain to buck tradition and superstition.

Will his season be doomed or will he end up with the ultimate catch?

This book is like Deadliest Catch finds love! I rather enjoyed the fishing part. Jo is a strong character. She does what it takes to help her family and it's admirable. I appreciate how even though it was rough going, Jolanda stuck to her guns. Keller is a real man. He keeps his word, no matter what back lash is coming from his crew. This is an exciting story of love, hardship and fishing! I've never wanted to visit Alaska more than now. You get an insight into how it really is to live there, the hardship of making a living, and not some glamorized version of it! I think this was a wonderful romance!
