Solitary Dreamer

Solitary Dreamer by Linda L Picl

Everyone felt sorry for Carrie Lawson. She was a sweet woman who had nothing but a deadbeat husband and a dream of a writing career. Happiness was something she had to fight for but when she met Logan Franks, a local firefighter, her love life became a whole lot warmer until her very existence was almost snuffed out by a person she thought she’d never see again.
Logan Franks is hot, and not just in looks. Being a volunteer firefighter doesn’t just mean being on a calendar or turning girls on…it’s dangerous work. Sometimes you have to go in and save everyone, sometimes even your worst enemy. But Logan is above all that, he will save everyone he can.
He and Carrie will fight for a life together, no matter what, even if the chances are high it will all blow up in their faces.

Let's go with the bad first.
There are some editing issues. Just wrong words, wrong uses. Another sweep through should get it fixed.
There are way too many twists and coincidences that it started to feel like the author was just filling up space.

The good..
I loved the characters, but wish they were a little more developed. Yes, we know that back story of Carrie and Logan. But the ending, we throw in dad, gram, and all these people, and they are supposed to be important, but are poorly developed.
In all, this was a sweet romance. I loved seeing the story develop. Reading about Carrie and even Logan, finding themself again, growing together and as individuals, made it a sweet story. The romance was clean, but well developed. It wasn't just a love at first story book, which makes it so much more enjoyable. I think this is a good clean romance. Worth picking up.
