*I received this book in exchange for an honest review*
I haven't read any of this series before. That being said, this was a great stand alone. I did not feel I was missing anything. The story was great, engaging, kept you interested. The ending though, felt rushed. There was a whole book of lead up and the ending just flew by. I loved Bella and Miles. Remembering her memories from the past, the suspense of who was haunting the house, and so much more. This was really a lovely historical romance.
