The Cleaner: The Assassins series, book 2 (a Crime and Suspense Thriller)

The Cleaner: The Assassins series, book 2 (a Crime and Suspense Thriller) by P.J. Mercedsen

Book 2: The Cleaner

Two killers. One brings death. The other is Death.

A mafia settling of scores went wrong, and must be fixed. At the other end of the city, two hitmen who have nothing in common must partner despite their mutual contempt.
Assassins don't usually work in pairs, and Eddie is no different. When his boss's boss puts him with Liam, an over-eager kid who just doesn't get it, neither one is happy. When Eddie finds out that the mark he's being told to take out is an old friend, he has to decide where his loyalties lie – and if Liam is there to make sure his choice is the right one.

Their opposite personalities and many other obstacles make for an adventure that both thrills and amuses.

Don't miss the second installment of this five-part series of murder, mayhem and mystery. Buckle in as things take off for our protagonists, setting things in motion that will change their lives forever.

This review is from: The Cleaner: The Assassins series, book 2 (a Crime and Suspense Thriller) (Kindle Edition)
*I received this book free in exchange for an honest review*
This book was action filled and interesting just like the first. Seeing Liam and Eddie forced to work together, is like watching The Odd Couple, though Liam is so young. They are complete opposites. This is a great series that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Though the books are short, they still pack quite a punch to them. There are a few slight editing errors in this book. But nothing to hamper your reading.
Liam reminds me of that kid in school who tries so hard to be popular that he ends up failing miserably. Eddie will certainly surprise you in this story. I look forward to more! What an invigorating series.
