This was a good read! Sophie and Jack are amazing, and it's not love at first sight, they really grow on each other. You can see that transformation as the book goes on. I enjoyed Skye and Katherine. Such in depth side cast made the story all the more complete. Between chasing personal demons, and family saga, this is sure to please the historical romance crowd. It's loose base on Romeo and Juliet is quite the alternative plot, and well done. My only negative, it's so drawn out. There was too much 'inner dialogue' and thinking with the characters. Often times repetitive.
