White Trash Beautiful

White Trash Beautiful by Teresa Mummert

Release date July 9, 2013
Cass Daniels isn’t waiting for her knight in shining armor. She knows that girls like her don’t get a happily ever after. Not if you live in a trailer with your mom, work at a greasy spoon diner, and get leered at by old men. Maybe that’s why she puts up with Jackson—her poor excuse for a boyfriend, who treats her like dirt. Cass has learned to accept her lot in life. That is, until hewalks into her diner. . . .
His name is Tucker White, and he’s different from any man Cass has ever known. Tall, tattooed, and bad-ass gorgeous, he’s the lead singer of the rock band Damaged. From the moment they meet, Tucker sees something in Cass he just can’t shake. Something beautiful. Something haunted. Something special. And he’s determined to find out what it is—if only he can get her to open up and let him in. . . .

This book is not yet on Goodreads or anywhere else for my review...

I would rate this 5 stars. Another hit for author Mummert. Her books are all amazing in their own heart breaking ways. Her strong female leads constantly leave me wanting more. Cass lives through a drug addicted mother and abusive addicted boyfriend. Struggling to care for them all, she shows strength and character that not many in her position could. Tucker is attractive and a real gentleman. Not many of those left around and it makes me swoon just thinking of it. The depth the author delves, into the world of drug addiction and how it affects families and those around them is amazing. She picks up on these details, that for those who have dealt with it, can understand and relate to. The love story is strong and full on one of the best books I've read so far this year. This book is full of heartache and love. I cried, laughed and cheered. This emotional rollercoaster is bound to please many fans, and if you're not already a fan, you should be. Try reading Suicide Note found on Amazon for $2.99 and Barnes and Noble, also $2.99. Granted, those of you who haven't read this yet, have to wait until July, but now I'm going to wither away in anticipation of the next in the fantastic new series. It's not out until next year!
