This book just did nothing for me. Seriously. There's nothing for you to use in connecting with the characters. Yes, we find out a little bit about Alex's past, her family dynamic and more. But there's nothing that really makes me like her. Nate, seems sexy, awesome, but, we really don't find out much about him. I couldn't figure out if this was supposed to be paranormal or suspense. The whole bit with the carvings confused me more than I enjoyed it. There was just no way to really get into and enjoy this book. I feel it was a waste of time.
