Well, it's hot, sexy, steamy and wonderful. But, it left me feeling like it wasn't a historical. If not for the clothing or certain other things described, it could have been just any other random erotic story. The twist at the end was highly predictable and mostly did nothing to make this more than what it really is. A short, quick, sexy read. You hardly get a chance to really like the characters. What we do find out, made me dislike them actually. So, supposedly the beginning of a series, I'm not sure I would waste my time on the rest of them. But, if you want something to set your mood for you quickly, here you go. Just skim over the boring stuff and right to the bedroom.
