This could be a great story! I liked the plot and enjoyed the fact that the characters were older and more mature. What I disliked, is the long winded inner dialogue that repeated itself over and over and went on and on. Get the point? This would be a great short story, or even leaves room for expansion, but there's so little dialogue and more thoughts for each character than anything worthwhile. I found myself skipping past several pages at a time just to continue a conversation or scene.
I think some of this story needs to be cut and analyzed. It just drags down what could be a sweet office romance. I loved the struggle between the two on should they or shouldn't they do it. I enjoyed that.
Then, we get to the end. After allllll the long winded parts... it's over in like 2 pages. What? Was the author rushed? Did they forget to finish the story? What happened? With some work, this could be good. I suppose you'll just have to see for yourself.
