Ok, I have to say, it's very hard for me to like this book. No, I haven't read the first in the series, but that's ok. This book doesn't leave you out. It can very well be a stand alone, but, I still didn't like it.
Ellie claims to love Camden, but finds every chance she can to jump in bed with Javier. She's stubborn and really, her inner dialogue, her thoughts, annoyed me. I couldn't keep up with them. I do like the action that was in this book, but the constant twisting and turning and trying to be more than it is, just didn't work. The ending was horrible. I understand cliff hangers, but, really? I looked at my kindle, like, where's the rest? I felt that it did not flow very well and I will most likely not read anything else from this series.
It's hard to really enjoy a book when out of all the characters, you only like one. Camden was the only one that I found any interest in at all. Ellie was paranoid one minute, horny the next. Scared of Javier, then riding him. I just couldn't like her at all.
